Important By-Laws and Covenants
Home Appearance If you plan to alter the outside appearance of your home in any way such as painting, fencing, new decking, etc., you need to complete the Architectural Form found on the Hidden Harbor Website, www.Hiddenharbor.org, and return it to the Business Office for Board approval prior to starting the work. The approval process takes up to 30 days.
Dog Owners If you are a dog owner, please be advised that there is a leash law and barking ordinance (see Article IV of Chattanooga Code of Ordinances) in Hamilton County. Please keep your dog in a pen or other contained area.
Lighted Lamp Post A lighted lamp post at the end of your driveway is required at all times. Please keep your light in working condition and have it turned on every night.
Association Dues Homeowners Association dues are assessed semi-annually on the first of January and July of every year. Payment of dues is due upon receipt of the statement and no later than the last day of the month the payment is due. Late charges are billed on every month after that. If necessary, placing a lien on the homeowner’s property helps us to collect dues that become excessively delinquent. Also, homeowners that have dues 60 to 90 days delinquent will lose privileges of using all amenities until the dues are paid in full.
Vehicle Stickers In order to park your vehicles on any of Hidden Harbor’s Common Properties, you must display a Hidden Harbor sticker on those vehicles (otherwise, they are subject to being towed). The stickers are numbered and assigned to your household. You will receive two stickers and will need to place them on the inside of your windshield so that they are visible from the outside. If you own more than two vehicles, additional stickers and guest passes can be purchased for $5 each by contacting the Business Office.
